Music Major Discovery Day

WIU Music Major Discovery Day is an opportunity for current high school music students to explore the various degree program options available in the School of Music. Students select a track based on the major in which they are interested and experience techniques classes and ensemble observations based on their primary instrument.
Students will be immersed in life as a music major, meet current WIU music faculty and students and learn more about the admissions and audition process.

Special Performance
Enjoy the complete "day in the life experience" and join the WIU Symphony Orchestra, faculty, and alumni in a feature performance of Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 1 at 7:30PM! Students will be admitted to the performance for no charge. Don't miss this fabulous work performed live in WIU's COFAC Recital Hall!
