Music Major Discovery Day

WIU Music Major Discovery Day is an opportunity for current high school music students to explore the various degree program options available in the School of Music. Students select a track based on the major in which they are interested and experience techniques classes and ensemble observations based on their primary instrument.
Students will be immersed in life as a music major, meeting with current WIU music faculty and students and learning more about the admissions and audition process.
PD Session
Educators who register and bring their students can attend a free Professional Development "Reading Band" session exploring new and standard repertoire written for band. Participants will receive a free shipping coupon from JWPepper for a future purchase!
