Becca grew up in Des Moines, Iowa. She graduated from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa with a B.S. in Anthropology and a minor in Spanish in 2012.

From fall 2010 to spring 2012 Becca interned at University Museums at Iowa State University in Collections Management. In 2011, Becca became a recipient of the Wayne and Eleanor Ostendorf Farm House Museum Student assistantship.

"I love learning about people, looking at different cultures and their stories. I have enjoyed being able to visit museums where I can learn more about what makes people unique.

I would love to work in the Collections or Education department of a museum, the location does not matter. I want to see the world and learn all I can from its people and history."
