Q: Who are you and where are you from?
A: My name is Tyler Doty and I am from Peoria, IL.

Q: Where did you go to school and what is your undergraduate degree?
A: I graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Advertising.

Q: Why did you choose the Museum Studies program at Western Illinois University?
: For many reasons but primarily because of its dynamic program structure and relative distance from my hometown.

Q: What is your interest in museums studies?
A: Education, visitor services, and working with children. I also enjoy a wide range of subject matter, especially history and astronomy.

Q: How do you think this program will help you in the future?
A: It should help me assist museums to make visitor experiences more engaging, comfortable, and inclusive. Overall, more awesome!

Q: Is there anything else you would like to share?
A: I served in the Navy, like to continually learn new things, and want to become involved with the community. I am excited to be in this program and hope to become an active part of a remarkably diverse field.
