CAD Lab

The Theatre Program’s CAD lab is a computer design/lab for theatre design and technology students. There are five Power Mac G-4’s and five Pentium 4 pc’s each with a CRT monitor located in the lab. Printing hardware includes a Canon Image Pro W 7250 plotter, an Epson Stylus 3000 oversized printer a Wacom Intuos graphics tablet, and an Epson GT-10000+ scanner. The room has its own network interface/router. Current software includes Poser 5, VectorWorks 12, SpotLight 12, Photoshop 8, and WYSIWYG. In addition to the electronic components of the lab there are also six full-sized drafting tables for students to use for other segments/techniques or processes involved with their design project class work and other specific realized design responsibilities. A sink and running water is also available for rendering and modeling work.
