Stay in Macomb over Break
Fall Break is quickly approaching. This means Western Illinois University Students will have to leave their residence halls for the week. However now there are more options for students who want to stay in Macomb. Previously, due to the remodeling of Corbin and Olson halls, all residence hall students had to make arrangements on somewhere else to stay for the week. This year with the reopening of Olson Hall, students can choose to stay there during Fall Break, Winter Break, or Spring Break.
For the rate of
$190
each week, students can stay in Olson hall
November 16
-25,
December 15
-31,
January 1
-13, or
March 8
-16. If you don’t need to stay the whole week, nightly rates are also available for
$17
plus a six percent lodging tax. Fees will automatically be billed to your student account.
Rooms will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis. Anyone interested needs to register at least 48 hours prior to the housing period. If you currently live in Olson Hall, you have the option of staying in your own room during breaks. For more information, you can contact University Housing and Dining Services at
