Director's Conference Theme

Based on last year's meeting in Cleveland, the conference will focus on where we came from and where we are going. Specifically, I am asking for your participation and discussion ideas to focus on the roots of our organization during the Friday morning sessions. These discussions might:

Starting with the Friday afternoon sessions and continue through Saturday morning sessions, the conversation will switch to our future. I am asking for discussion ideas to focus on the challenges we face. Issues discussed may include:

To make this conference as productive and thought-provoking as our past conferences, I am asking for your ideas and suggestions. Please do not wait until the registration deadline to suggest ideas. This is the time for us to share our thoughts about the issues we are facing and will face so that we can continue to improve the basic course. Please feel free to email your ideas for panels/discussions and even those who you think might be good participants. Even if you don't think your idea/concern fits the theme, I am sure we can figure out a way to work it into the program.
