Tickets for the award-winning show, "The Vagina Monologues," to be performed at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 15-17, will be on sale Tuesday-Thursday, Feb. 6-8 at the Union Concourse and the Women's Center, Seal Hall 320.

Created by Eve Ensler, "The Vagina Monologues," based on actual interviews with a diverse group of hundreds of women, unabashedly delves into questions often pondered but seldom asked. The performances will be held in the Simpkins Hall Theatre.

Western's premiere, performed by female theatre students and directed by theatre professor Egla Hassan as part of WIU's Studio Shows, is sponsored by the Women's Center, the theatre department and Feminist Action Alliance.

General admission tickets are $5 for the general public. If tickets are still available on opening night, they will be sold at the door.

EDITOR'S NOTE: "The Vagina Monologues" will be explicit and may be offensive to some.
