Goldfarb To Deliver Inaugural Phi Kappa
Phi Distinguished Lecture
President Al Goldfarb
will deliver the inaugural Phi Kappa Phi Fall Distinguished
Lecture, “Theatrical Performance During the Holocaust,”
at 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10 in
the Union Lamoine Room.
“We have always hosted a reception
each fall to honor the recent faculty initiates into Phi
Kappa Phi; however, beginning this year, we will also
host a reputed public speaker at this annual event who
will deliver a scholarly lecture to the campus community
as a whole,” said Judith
Dallinger, Western’s Phi Kappa Phi chapter president.
A reception to honor the recent
faculty initiates will follow President Goldfarb’s
presentation. The initiates, inducted into Phi Kappa Phi
at the April luncheon, include Goldfarb; Andrea
Redcay Graves, music;
Scott Holt, biological
sciences; Jenq-Kuen Huang,
chemistry; Kathleen Neumann,
computer science; and Dennis
Sigwart, community health-health services management.
The Nov. 10 lecture
and reception are open free to the public.
