was authorized to draft a multi-year
contract for President
Al Goldfarb which
would set his annual salary
at $225,000, retroactive to
July 1, 2004. This action was
based on input received from
campus groups and the evaluation
of institutional goals outlined
by Goldfarb following his first
year as president.
A base
wage increase of 3.5 percent
is included in the first year
of a five-year agreement with
the International Union of Operating

34 employees in heating plant/mechanical
maintenance classifications.
For the second through fifth
year the contract calls for
salary increases based on funds
appropriated for salary increases.
