BOT Approves Phase II of Steam Line ProjectThe Western Illinois University Board of Trustees recently approved a bid for Phase II of the steam line project near Western Hall and for the steam line project between Simpkins and Corbin-Olson halls. Western Again Recognized for Commitment to CommunityWestern was recently selected for The Carnegie Foundation's Community Engagement Classification. The University is one of three Illinois public universities to receive the distinction. Notices, Reminders and Upcoming EventsCelebration Concert: Ernie HendricksonTri States Public Radio's Celebration Concert Series will present Ernie Hendrickson at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22. Songs from his self-released first solo record, "Down The Road," earned merits from Mountain Stage's new song contest, and landed him a showcase at Toronto's NXNE, sister fest to SXSW in the U.S. Find information and tickets here.
