FY'12 Budget/Cash Flow Update
Pending action by Gov. Pat Quinn, Western's appropriated budget for FY'12 will be reduced by approximately 1.15 percent to $55.5 million from last year's $56.2 million appropriation. See more in the most recent cash flow update from President Goldfarb.
BOT Approves All-Costs Increase
The Western Illinois University Board of Trustees approved a 4.6 percent increase in all-costs (tuition, fees and room and board) for undergraduate students entering the WIU-Macomb campus in Fall 2011 at the board's June 3 meeting at the WIU-Quad Cities 60th Street Campus.

Retirement Reception for Garry Johnson
A retirement reception for Vice President for Student Services Garry Johnson will be held from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Friday, June 24 in the University Union Lamoine Room. Johnson will retire June 30, after 31 years of service.

Marsha Grotts, a building service worker at the Western Illinois University Donald S. Spencer Student Recreation Center, was named the WIU May Civil Service Employee of the Month.Chris Brown, administrative aide at the Western Illinois University-Quad Cities campus, has been named the June Civil Service Employee of the Month.
