Provost Interviews Scheduled
Four candidates for the Western Illinois University provost and vice president for academic affairs position will be on WIU's campuses for interviews through Nov. 2, according to Steven Rock, search committee chair.
Central Sign-On Established to Enhance Security
Zimbra users will see a new sign-on page when accessing WIU email, thanks to a new "WIU Central Sign-On" website launched by University Technology (uTech) to enhance security.

Free Health Screenings Scheduled
WIU Employee Wellness will offer free hearing and bone-density screenings Wednesday, Nov. 9. For additional wellness events, including 10-minute massages, visit wiu.edu/vpas/wellness/events.php.
Celebration Concert to Feature Harp-guitarist
Muriel Anderson, the first woman to win the National Fingerpicking Guitar Championship, will perform Nov. 5 in the Tri States Public Radio Performance Studio.
University Counseling Center Receives Re-accreditation
The University Counseling Center was recently evaluated by a national organization and was found to offer competent and reliable professional services to its clientele.
Berg Memorial Service
The WIU and Macomb communities are invited to an open house and memorial service from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5 for Irving and Connie Demuth Berg, who both recently passed away.
The event will be held at the West Central Illinois Arts Center, 25 East Side Square.
