The Western Illinois University Board of Trustees recommended the Fiscal Year 2013 operating budget increase of $14.2 million at its September meeting.

Beth Seaton, director of Sponsored Projects, has been selected to receive the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA) 2011

Interpersonal Violence Prevention Coordinator Hired
Justine Johnson, a sexual assault victim advocate, has been named the Interpersonal Violence Prevention coordinator (IVPC) at WIU as part of a grant awarded to WIU from the U.S. Department of Justice's Office on Violence Against Women.
