Dr. O'Ryan received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master of Science Degree in Counseling from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. She completed her Doctorate degree in Counselor Education at the University of South Dakota. Her counseling experience has been in community mental health, neuropsychological rehabilitation, college counseling and employee assistance counseling. She teaches Substance Abuse Counseling, Career Counseling, Human Development, and Theories of Counseling and Development. Dr. O'Ryan is the editor of the ICA newsletter, Contact. She enjoys bicycling, running, basketry, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
