STUDENT DEGREE PLANS NOW AVAILABLE ON STARS!

The Student Degree Plan that you receive each semester from your advisor is now available on STARS. Don't remember what courses you are scheduled to take next semester? Just get on STARS and select "Student Degree " from the menu--your semester by semester plan is right there!

Not sure what courses satisfy the humanities, social science, human well being, etc. requirement? Just place the cursor next to the course you are unsure about and click on the "Course " button on the bottom of the screen. The screen will show you a list of approved courses to choose from.

SPECIAL PERMISSION REQUEST FORMS

ALL requests for special permission are considered on a first-come, first-served basis. Receiving permission for a class guarantees you a seat in that class. You do not have to be cleared to register to receive special permissions. Forms are available in the CPEP (HH91) office.

In addition to the C & I courses, Bilingual majors will also need to request permission to enroll in MATH 106, 206, 364, and POLS 122.

All unused special permissions will be removed May 1st or December 1st (depending on the semester), except for those students with a financial encumbrance.

Students must have a cumulative 2.50 GPA to receive permission for any C & I freshman/sophomore level course . Permissions will not be granted for any C&I upper level course (300/400) unless the student has a 2.75 GPA and is "fully accepted" to TEP.
