What services do you provide in the Speech-Language Clinic?
- We provide diagnostic evaluation and therapy for all types of speech-language disorders for all ages.
- When are services available?
- We operate from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. We are closed when the University is closed for holidays and semester breaks.
- Who can receive services from the clinic?
- The clinic is open to all. We provide services to University students, area preschoolers, school age children, and adults.
- Who provides the services?
- Services are provided by students in the major under the direction of certified and licensed faculty.
- Is there a charge for your services?
- Our services are free to Western Illinois University students, faculty, staff, and children under the age of three years. All others are charged on a sliding scale depending on income and number of dependents in the household. We have a policy that no one will be turned down for lack of ability to pay.
