COLLEGE LEVEL EXAMINATION PROGRAM SUBJECT EXAMINATIONS (CLEP)
You may earn credit through the College Level Examination Program (CLEP). Many community colleges and universities serve as CLEP testing centers. If you have questions or wish further information about the CLEP, contact them at:

At Western Illinois University (Macomb, Illinois): Subject Examinations are administered in Macomb at the WIU Counseling Center. You can call 309/298-2453 for an individual appointment. The code number for WIU is 1900. To receive credit, a minimum of 50th percentile must be earned.
Military Personnel: Military personnel on active duty who want to take CLEP tests should see their Education Services Officer (ESO). Military personnel are not required to use the CLEP Registration-Admission Form.
CLEP Registration
It is important you complete a CLEP Registration-Admission Form and send it to the testing center where you desire the examination to be administered. Most testing centers require your completed application be received at least one month prior to the date of the examination.
To receive credit for CLEP Examinations, request your scores be sent to Western Illinois University, Code Number 1900.
To obtain copies of CLEP scores: contact the Educational Testing Service, Princeton, New Jersey 08540. If scores need Western’s review, they must be sent directly to the Undergraduate Office of Admissions, 1 University Circle, Macomb, IL 61455
