Spring 2008
Online Courses
- November 1, 2007 – Advanced registration begins.
- November 19, 2007 – Open registration begins.
- January 14, 2008 – Spring semester begins.
- January 18, 2008 – Last day to add course during open registration.
- January 28, 2008 - Last day to add by permission or delete a course.
- March 30, 2008 - Last day to drop course with a “W” grade.
- May 7, 2008 - Last day for students to take exams in the Distance Education office. If taking exams at the Quad Cities campus exams must be completed by 11:00 a.m.
- May 9, 2008 - Last day to submit course requirements to graduate in May or have grade recorded on transcript by end of spring semester.
Print-based Courses
- November 1, 2007 – Advanced registration begins

- July 30, 2008 – Last day to take exams in the Distance Education office. If taking exams at the Quad Cities campus exams must be completed by 11:00 a.m.
- August 1, 2008 – Incomplete changed to F if course requirements have not been submitted.
Summer 2008
Online Courses
- June 3, 2008 - Last day to register students without special permission of instructor.
- June 9, 2008 - Last day to register students. Last day to withdraw from one or more online courses without receiving a "W" on transcript.
- July 3, 2008 - Last day to drop classes or make a total university withdrawal without academic penalty (tuition payable)
- July 23, 2008 - Last day for students to take summer online exam in the Distance Learning office. If taking exams at the Quad Cities campus exams must be completed by 11:00 a.m.
- July 25, 2008 - Instructors must have all requirements by this date (including exams).
Print-based Courses
- June 9, 2008 - Last day to register.
- July 12, 2008 – Last day to withdraw from one or more print-based courses without receiving a "W" on transcript.
- September 19, 2008 - Last day to drop classes or make a total university withdrawal without academic penalty (tuition payable).

Orientation Info
Some programs offer an Online Orientation. You are strongly encouraged to complete the online orientation shortly after you have been accepted into a program. The orientation programs are designed to familiarize you with your new program.
