If you are a DPS customer connecting to the DPS website using the University network–either on-campus or using University dial-up services–please use the DPS in-house dropbox.
If you are a DPS customer connecting to the DPS website from outside the University network; please use the DPS web-based dropbox.
In the Address bar of My Network Places, enter the address "\\dps1.wiu.edu\DPS-FileTransfer". Click the "Go" button on the right of the Address bar. If a dialog appears asking for a user name and password, enter "guest" (without the quotation marks) in the user name field, and leave the password field blank.
Inside the DPS-FileTransfer folder that appears, customers will find two folders, "DPS-DropBox" and "DPS-PickUpBox". Customers can drop files into DPS-DropBox but cannot see the contents of DPS-DropBox, let alone copy files from DPS-DropBox; likewise, customers can pick up files from DPS-PickUpBox but cannot put files into DPS-PickUpBox.
Note to DPS customers: Please notify your DPS contact with file names before or immediately after copying files to the DPS-DropBox. Please delete files from DPS-PickUpBox once they have been copied to your local storage. Thank you.
