Tori Lindeman
Tori Lindeman is another successful past graduate from the Educational Leadership department. Currently, she is employed by the Rock Island School District, and has been for 4 years. When asked about her biggest challenge, Lindeman wrote, “My age: It has been a barrier to prove my skills and leadership to those who have been in education longer than I have been alive. It is something that will just continue to take me proving myself to the nay-sayers - one at a time.”
Lindeman and her husband, Brian, recently celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary in December. 2006. Lindeman has two sons, Cody and Andrew. Cody is attending Monmouth College, and Andrew is a sophomore at Rocky HS, where he excels in band – jazz, concert, and marching – and German. In October, Lindeman and her husband spent two weeks in Paris, Germany, and Austria. She states that, “I have a personal goal to visit 40 countries by my 40th birthday! I have just completed my internship for the superintendent level. I was recently certified in solo sky-diving and hope to continue jumping over the summer. The goal for the next year is to perfect my golf game! New personal slogan: ‘Live like you were dying!’”
