WIU's Literary Magazine

An annual literary magazine established nearly fifty years ago, Elements is a culmination of poetry, plays, works of fiction and creative nonfiction assembled by students of Western Illinois University. To our collegiate community, the magazine represents both an appreciation of diverse literature as well as the professional urge to begin sharing it with unsuspecting others. The magazine is a respectable outlet for creative expression as well as a launching pad for a future writing career- Who wouldn't want to share his or her art in a published medium?
