Civil Service Openings

Civil service employment is coordinated through the Human Resources Office. Western Illinois University adheres to the State Universities Civil Service System open and continuous standard for civil service classifications. We encourage applicants and employees who are interested in civil service positions to apply and test for the classifications for which they qualify.

We are continually recruiting for office support positions including Office Support Associate, Office Support Specialist and Office Manager.

Complete a Job Application online. Please include all employment history on your application.

For an application to be considered complete, supplemental application materials, which may include transcripts, licenses, certifications, and/or a copy of the DD214 (if applicable), should be submitted to the Human Resources Office.

Applicants with completed applications will be contacted to set-up an application evaluation appointment. During the application evaluation your qualifications will be reviewed. If you meet the minimum acceptable qualifications, an appointment for testing will be scheduled for a later date.
