  • Responsibilities:

    Employees at this level work with students in planning and preparation through one-on-one and group settings. In addition, this position is responsible for implementing programs, events, and objectives involved in the new student orientation experience and services related to career development.

    Coordinator Typically:

    1. Assist students with career navigation and exploration needs, including (but not limited to) resume construction, interviewing skills, job search strategies
    2. Teach UNIV 390
    3. Coordinate programming and events related to new student orientation and transition  
    4. Meet directly with students in individual and group settings
    5. Implement and manage online-orientation content and platform
    6. Train, mentor, supervise practicum students and undergraduate students, when appropriate
    7. Assist with marketing and promotions including (but not limited to) social media and outreach materials and websites
    8. Present to students, guest, and alumni
  • Required Qualifications:
    1. Bachelor’s degree
    2. Two (2) years of experience in student development, event planning, and/or career development in a higher education setting, or related experience.*

    *A Master’s Degree in an area consistent with the duties of the position may be substituted for one (1) year (12 months) of work experience.

  • Starting Salary: $3,052/month
