  • Responsibilities:

    CAIT is looking for an IT professional with experience and passion for their profession, effective communication and listening skills, the drive to be a forever learner, and an excitement for collaboration in a team environment.  The employee selected for this position will be responsible for the design, development and modification of computer, telecommunication and control systems through analysis and identification of the client's needs. They must have knowledge, principles, and disciplines related to the analysis, design, implementation and operation of most elements associated with the enterprise infrastructure architecture including, but not limited to, the management of stored data, software operations and deployment, systems, networks, hosting services, security, and onsite and offsite data center facilities.  It is important that the employee be highly proficient in areas of technology and services provided by the IT department, and accept responsibility for mentoring lower levels and monitoring the quality of their work.  The employee will report directly to the Associate Director of Technology, and be asked to provide input towards the IT strategic plan

  • Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's in Computer Science and 3 years experience in two of the following:
      • Linux
      • Networking
      • Storage
      • Cloud Computing
      • Databases
      • Information Security
    • Any combination of 110 semester hours or three years of professional experience in the following areas:
      • Programming languages that can be used in Linux system administration (i.e. Bash, Python, Perl)
      • Object oriented and procedural programming language concepts
      • Basic computer security (i.e. Firewalls, Virus and Malware protection, file system security)
  • Starting Salary: $5,124/Month
