Charles McLeod's fiction has appeared in publications including Alaska Quarterly Review, Conjunctions, CutBank, DOSSIER, The Gettysburg Review, The Iowa Review, The Pushcart Prize: Best of the Small Presses, Third Coast and ZYZZYVA. A Hoyns Fellow while at University of Virginia, he has received additional fellowships from the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, and San Jose State University, where he was a Steinbeck Fellow. His debut collection of stories, National Treasures, and debut novel, American Weather, will be published simultaneously by Random House UK/Harvill Secker in 2011.
