- Third place: $25
Essays for the 2007-8 contest are currently being judged.
For the 2008-9 context, essays must be submitted to the WIU Writing Program office (Simpkins 124) on or before Monday, January 26, 2009, at 4:00 pm. No essays will be accepted after the deadline.
To enter the contest, please read the contest rules, download an entry form, and submit your essay as instructed. You should also consider speaking with your instructor about ways you can improve your essay. Tutors in the University Writing Center can also assist you.
