Spring 2005 Brown bags
After our very productive Spring 2005 assessment, the writing faculty have held a series of informal “brown bag” discussions about assessment and the goals of our composition courses ENG 180 and ENG 280. The first two meetings (Feb 17 & 18) were general discussions. The second (Mar 30 & 31) focused on the ENG 280 Goals & Objectives.
Based on these discussions, the writing committee and Acting Director of Writing Joan-Livingston Webber recommend that the Writing Program initiate a review of the course descriptions, goals, and policies for ENG 100, 180, and 280, beginning the Fall 2005 semester.
