First Year Experience is a university wide program that helps all incoming first year students make a successful transition to college from their previous educational or life experience.

Brenna Leslie Fye class Bayliss and Henninger

Brenna Smith, Senior, Communication & Economics double major. Do you know an outstanding person who deserves to be spotlighted on the WIU FYE webpage? If so, consider nominating them for an FYE Spotlight.

We are a collection of individuals from all across campus that work with first year students and hope to positively influence their lives to help them excel intellectually, physically, socially/civically and emotionally.

The WIU community has a passion and dedication for helping our first year students. We believe that it is our duty to make a difference in the lives of our students. We are FYE!

All first year students live together in Bayliss-Henninger and/or Tanner Halls as part of the FYE program. Read more about Residence Hall Life and FYE!
