Makin' Bacon Machine

The pigs accepted that feeding humans was a part of their mission so this sacrifice was not entirely distasteful. Part of their mission was to serve mankind and to bring peace to the planet. An adequate food supply helped. Ingenious ways were used to mass produce the species including confinement feed lots. This entailed a very structured life style which all but a few pigs accepted. A few maintained that the mission to the stop the destruction of the planet could not be accomplished in this way. Peace and harmony could only be accomplished when mankind accepted the wisdom of the ages. Thus the rigid system of the feedlot became the incubator for ways to elevate the porcine species to a higher plain of spiritual existence. A minority felt the only way to communicate the insanity of global destruction was through a more subtle approach.
