STATEMENT

Somewhere in the deep recesses of space, lived the creator of all animals. It took the form of an animal that had survived on the planet Earth for many centuries. It was round and pink with a superior intelligence and was called pig or hog.

Having controlled the events in the galaxy, it constantly searched space for anything that could cause any imbalance in the cosmic equilibrium. Thus pig power was the mysterious force that had maintained universal harmony since the beginning of time.

During the last part of the twentieth century the inhabitants of planet Earth faced a crisis. Weapon systems had become so powerful that the ecosystem could be destroyed with one turn of a switch. This meant either the end of warfare or the end of life on the planet. At this time the creator of hogs decided it was time to act. The sanctity of life on the planet could no longer be trusted to the human species.
