MAGS HARRIES: Born Barry, 1945

Educated at Leicester College of Art & Design and Southern Illinois University. Mags Harries has taught at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Boston since 1980. She has exhibited throughout the U.S.A. Her awards include an Artist Fellowship from the Massachusetts Council on the Arts and Humanities. She works mainly as a sculptor. Her work is in many collections including the National Museum of Wales and the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. In 1993 she had the Honor Award for Design Collaboration from the Boston Society of Architects.
