Eric Owiredu Named Fryzek Award Winner

Eric Owidredu and Dr. Samuel Thompson.Eric Owidredu was named the 2006-2007 recipient of the Rob Fryzek Outstanding Graduate Student Award. The award recognizes excellence in leadership within the Department of Geography, University and Community. Eric received a cash award and his name has been placed on a plaque that is displayed in the Geography Department.

A 2002 graduate of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (B.S) and a 2002 graduate of Auburn University (M.S. Forestry), Eric has served as a graduate assistant in the department's physical geography laboratories.
