The Transatlantic Dual Degree program is a new educational program set up to prepare students for success in the interconnected global world of the 21st century. The program is designed by four partner institutions. Two from the US: Western Illinois University (WIU), Macomb, Illinois and DePaul University’s School of Computer Science, Telecommunications, and Information Systems (CTI), Chicago, Illinois and two from Europe: Ecole de Commerce Européenne (ECE), Lyon, France; and Linköping University (LiU), Sweden.
During the first two years of their study, all students will follow basic undergraduate courses at their home universities. Then, all students will follow the fall semester of their third year at ECE in Lyon, France and the spring semester at Linköping, Sweden. After successfully finishing this year, all students will receive a European Bachelor Degree. For their fourth year, all students will attend either Western Illinois University or DePaul University in the US. Completing this year will result in receiving the American Undergraduate Degree.
