Information Technology and Its Application to Management

Globalization has become synonymous with Information Technology. This study abroad program allows students to explore global information technology processes and concepts in a practical international environment. An emphasis is placed on teamwork with an international mix of students. In addition, students will be exposed to French business, language, and culture through an exploration of the City of Paris and the surrounding countryside. Students will be partnered with French students through a buddy system that will provide an unique opportunity to see and experience the country from a resident’s perspective. The program will be housed at the Ecole d’Ingenieurs des Technologies de l;Information et du Management (EFREI) in Paris. EFREI is one of the premier institutions in France that focuses on Information Technology engineering and management. Besides a close correspondence between the courses offered at EFREI and those here in the College of Business and Technology, EFREI has a strong partner network with other European, Russian, and East Asian institutions. These schools will also be invited to participate in the courses, creating a truly international environment in which to foster student teamwork.
