Application process:

Program applications may be obtained from Kim McDaniel, 202 Seal Hall (East), Dr. Doug Druckenmiller, WIU-QC, or Chris Ramsey, CBT Advising Center, Stipes, and are due by February 9, 2007. Participants will be notified of their status. Those accepted to the program will be required to submit additional information.

WIU Health Insurance:

WIU health and accident insurance is MANDATORY for all participants. Students are required to obtain WIU student health insurance for the month(s) they will be participating in an international short-term program. Insurance coverage will be verified with the Student Health Insurance Office prior to departure.

Entry Requirements:

Passport applications are available at the Circuit Clerk’s office at the McDonough County Courthouse, first floor, east end. The office is open Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Application requirements include a certified copy of your birth certificate, 2 passport photos, and a driver’s license. The cost is $97. Processing time is 6-8 weeks.
