Cost and Payment Schedules

Estimated Program Cost (based on 10 participants): $2,920. Included items: Round-trip airfare from Chicago, lodging, airport train transfers, Metro pass, and entry fees to most cultural site visits. Not included in program cost: WIU tuition, WIU student health insurance (required), passport (required), all meals, train transportation to and entrance fee for cultural visit to Versailles, transportation to/from Chicago, and personal expenses. Students should expect to spend approximately $800 on meals. Students who wish to buy souvenirs should budget more money than the figures above indicate. All participants should be aware of fluctuations in the U.S. dollar/ Euro conversion rate and budget accordingly. For students who are notified that they meet the eligibility requirements, a non-refundable deposit of $900 is due by February 28, 2007. The final payment amount of approximately $2,020 is due by April 13, 2007. All payments are collected by Kim McDaniel, Study Abroad Advisor for Group Programs, Center for International Studies, 202 Seal Hall (East). Payments will not be accepted from students until eligibility requirements are verified.
