Plan to spend four weeks this summer in the heart of
the United States on the campus of Western Illinois University in Macomb,
Illinois. Through this program you will learn to enhance your English skills,
study Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Community Development, experience American college
life, visit American businesses, attend seminars on various topics such as
strategy, dressing for success, stress management, resumé writing, etc, participate
in team building activities at WIU Horn Field Campus and attend numerous cultural
and recreational activities. This program will help build your resume and
make you even more marketable to future employers.
The program begins Saturday, June 20th and continues through Sunday, July 19th.
Cultural Trips will be taken to Springfield, Moline, and Chicago, Illinois; and St. Louis,
Missouri. Students will be housed in one of WIU’s
residence halls. Macomb is a city of approximately 20,000 located in the heart of an agricultural
based area. This program is sponsored by the Office of Global Education, College of Business and Technology, and Center for International Studies.
