Dr. Barclay Key (Ph.D., University of Florida, 2007) joined the Department in the Fall of 2007 as its specialist in African American
History and the History of the American South.
Prof. Key teaches courses on African American History [History 313 and 314], the American South [History 309], and the U.S. survey [History 106], as well as graduate seminars in American History [History 510 and 511].
Dr. Key is the recipient of a Fulbright Lecturing Award (Poland) for 2009-2010.
