Lodging and Meals University On-Campus Housing Registration for University housing and meal plans must be completed by midnight, Thursday, May 21st. Registration for On-Campus Housing is available via the Registration Form: If you have registered for On-Campus Housing, you may check in at the Residence Hall upon arrival. The front desk of the Residence Hall will be staffed for late evening Check-In and early morning Checkout. The Registration Desk for the Symposium will open at 8 am, Tuesday, June 2, 2009 in the Western Illinois University Union. At the end of the Symposium, Housing Check-Out is required before 10 am Monday June 8th.
Thompson Hall
- All rooms are equipped with the following: Pillow, pillowcase, blanket, 2 flat sheets, and towel. Guests may bring their own linens and/or an additional blanket, however there is no discount if they bring their own linens.
- Internet access is available in each room, however Ethernet cables are not provided. Wireless Internet access is available in the public areas of the residence hall.
- Room keys are property of the University and are the responsibility of the guest. Carry your key with you at all times, as your key is needed for the elevator and floor access. Do not prop doors open; this poses a security risk to guests. Report any lost keys to conference staff immediately. Any keys not returned will be assessed a $50 charge.
- Vending machines are located in the lobby areas. Please ask an information desk or conference staff member for locations.
- Lounges are located on each floor. Feel free to use these areas at any time.
- Coin operated washers and dryers are available on the 2nd floor.
- All rooms are air-conditioned.
- There are two locations on campus to purchase toiletries: The University Bookstore and the Convenience Store located in the University Union. Both locations have limited summer hours.
- Rooms are not equipped with alarm clocks, please bring your own.
- Excessively dirty rooms will be charged $25 per room.
