The department has some of the most advanced instructional technologies available in the entire midwest. IDT's distance learning facilities include compressed two-way video to link the University with dozens of sites in thewestern region of Illinois and satellite to link the university to sites across the US, giving you
interactive access to IDT classes from a variety of learning
sites.
On-campus facilities include an advanced computer lab complex,
interactive multimedia and CD-ROM production lab, electronic classrooms, video/audio production and editing facilities, fully equipped photographic darkrooms and processing labs, as well as two-way audio/video compressed TV and satellite-based distance
learning TV networks.
In short, you will have access to all of the most up-to-date educational technologies and tools. And you will receive ongoing technical and instructional support as you learn to
master this equipment.
