Our Mission
It is the mission of the Interactive Multimedia (IMM) Lab to provide training and professional development opportunities for those persons using technology in their teaching and learning at Western Illinois University. To that end, IMM presents a wide variety of free services and programs for COEHS faculty, students, and staff. From multimedia production to distance learning course creation and management, IMM seeks to enable COEHS faculty, students, and staff to use technology as another tool in their toolbox for enhancing their learning experiences.
The Interactive Multimedia (IMM) Lab facilities and services are provided by the College of Education and Human Services (COEHS). IMM strives to work with faculty and staff of COEHS in developing new and innovative ways to expand teaching horizons by incorporating technology into the classroom. IMM strives to work with students at Western Illinois University in utilizing the constantly evolving technologies in today's educational, human services, and corporate workforces.
