EyeToy

Playing video games for long hours on end seems to be an activity that people, especially kids, seem to do a lot these days.  Now there is something that can help get them moving again.  It is called an EyeToy.  The EyeToy is a digital camera made for the PlayStation 2.  It works similarly to a webcam, only allows users to play many different types of games.  It allows players to interact with games using motion, color, and also sound!  The EyeToy comes with games, but also there are extra games that users can purchase.  The games that the EyeToy comes with include such things as Kung Foo, where players must battle bad guys with their karate skills.  There is also a game called boxing Chump, which is a boxing match where players must dodge attackers punches, while also throwing their own.  There are 12 of these “mini-games”, each with three different levels of difficulty, with 2-player function.  There are also games that users can buy such as, Dance Dance Revolution, MLB 2005, and AFL Premiership 2005.  There are many different games for any type of person, from someone who likes to sing and dance, to the users who like to play sports.  Each one allows users to interact with the game, and to get more out of having fun than simply watching television.  The EyeToy Camera costs approximately $20, and can be purchased at http://www.amazon.com.  For more information regarding the EyeToy here are a couple of websites, http://www.eyetoy.com, and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eye_Toy.
