Mobile Learning News Archives
Mobile Learning News is a monthly newsletter that is sent out to faculty and staff of (COEHS) College of Education and Human Services. Its focus is on mobile applications geared towards teaching, learning, and human service applications. Each issue will feature the following:
- Teaching and Learning Spotlight - Will provide information on how university professors and P-12 educators are using handhelds in the classroom at WIU and around the globe.
- m-Learning News Flash - Will provide a summary of breaking news from the top manufacturers of handheld computers, accessories, and software.
- Device of the Month - Editors will pick a mobile device and showcase its features. Tips on how this device could be used in the classroom will also be provided.
- Accessory of the Month - Editors will pick an accessory and showcase its features. Tips on how this accessory could be used in the classroom will also be provided.
- Application of the Month - Editors will pick an application and showcase its features. Tips on how this application could be used in the classroom will also be provided.
- Resource Review - Editors will provide annotation and ratings for a list of resources that will lead to further information about handheld computers.
