Apple iPod 5G (Video) Apple’s iPod continues to be a popular item on holiday shopping lists. This fifth generation iPod has new features that will keep it at the top of those lists. The iPod keeps it personal with customizable menus, and easy navigation with “The Click Wheel.” With a battery life of up to 20 hours, you really will be able to bring your music, videos, games, and photos with you anywhere. Battery life can be easily extended with the new brightness control, which reduces the display screen brightness. You can also watch movies with the new iPod. Download movies from iTunes, then bring them to the iPod so they can be watched anywhere. Select TV shows are also available on the iTunes store for $1.99 for an episode. The iTunes store lets you select which episodes you buy, or purchase an entire season. Following the way of books on tape, audiobooks are available for download from the iTunes store. The iTunes store offers a selection of thousands of titles and makes it easy to bring your audiobook with you everywhere. Another new feature of the iPod Video is the capability to store and display photos. The iPod can hold up to 25,000 photos and is compatible with either Mac or PC via iTunes. There is even a setting that allows you to view your photos in a slideshow complete with music. Other extras to the iPod video are games, calendar, contacts, access the World Clock, a combination lock to protect your iPod, and a built-in stop watch which records your times.
