What is podcasting?

Podcasting is a way to download and automatically synchronize audio files to your palm pilot, PDA, other handheld media, and even your home computer.  Podcasting is usually a free subscription service that automatically checks the subscribed server for recent audio files and then downloads them and synchronizes them to your media.
