Experience Pack

Microsoft’s six new applications in Microsoft Experience Pack for Tablet PC can the computing experience for any Tablet user. The Experience Pack includes:

  • Ink Desktop – Take a quick note and leave it on your desktop for a reminder.  With Ink Desktop you can write directly on your desktop to view anytime you want.
  • Snipping Tool – Browsing through a cool website and see something you like, circle it and Snipping Tool will cut it out for you.  Then you can paste it in a report in Word or send in an email to a friend.
  • Ink Art – Let your inner artist free.  Ink Art gives you the pallets you need to draw, sketch and day dream.  Just like a pad of paper and a paintbrush, Ink Art allows you to draw any way you want.
  • Ink Crossword – No need to carry around Sunday’s paper any more, with Ink Crossword you can pull out your stylus any time and do your crossword.
  • Media Transfer – For users running Windows XP Home, Professional, or Media Center Edition you can now share your media with your Tablet PC.  Media Transfer makes the transfer of play lists and movies seamless to your Tablet PC.
  • Energy Blue Theme Pack – Like other themes, Energy Blue Theme Pack infuses your desktop with blue.  In addition to the visible styles that change, this theme pack provides you with your own Jukebox.

Education Pack

Microsoft’s Education Pack for Tablet PC has five applications that can help students and teachers alike stay organized for school. This includes:

  • Ink Flash Cards – Write, type, draw and add graphics to two sided electronic flash cards. While studying, you can mark which cards you need to try again. Ink Flash Cards also makes it easy to e-mail, or share your cards on a network.
  • Equation Writer – Teachers and students alike can find many different uses for the Equation Writer. You can convert your handwritten math equation to text instantly, all with the touch of a pen.
  • OneNote 2003 – No longer is there a need to print off lecture slides to take notes. Microsoft Office OneNote 2003 allows you to import any printable document and make notes directly on it. With OneNote 2003 you can keep all of your notes organized and in one place.
  • GoBinder Lite – Students can now keep their daily planner on the computer. GoBinder Lite can help you keep track of classes, contacts, and activities. You can handwrite or type your entries, and customize your color scheme with different backgrounds and graphics.
  • Helix Deluxe – This application takes a popular game from Zone.com and gives it a new twist. Use your pen as the controller to match colored clusters and score points.
