Registering for One-on-One Training
If you would like to schedule a one-on-one training session, call IMM at least two working days prior to the day you would like to receive your training. The phone number to call when setting up one-on-one appointments is (309) 298-3076.
Use of Lab Facilities and Equipment
Periodically throughout the semester IMM reserves the right to close down the lab for short time periods in order to accommodate specialized training events and equipment upgrades. When these instances occur, a notice will be placed on the door as soon as possible. During summer sessions and breaks, the IMM lab will have adjusted hours as well as adjusted workshop schedules to compensate for lighter staffing. Watch the IMM announcements page for schedule changes during these times. In the IMM and Faculty labs, you will find posted rules and guidelines. As the provider of these facilities, the College of Education and Human Services (COEHS) asks you to abide by these rules when using their facilities. Failure to abide by the posted rules may result in a revocation of IMM lab privileges. IMM is not obligated to store projects on the lab computers. As a patron of our lab it is your responsibility to bring the proper technology for backing up all work you do in the lab. Patrons take a risk if they save their work to our machines and count on it being there in the future. IMM is not responsible for lost work or lost time. Types of removable media that we can support include: CD/R/RW burners, DVD-R/+R/+-R/RW burners, USB capability for Thumb Drives, Zip Drives, Floppy Drives, and FireWire capabilities for external hard drives, and iPod’s. Equipment and references in the labs are provided by the College of Education and Human Services (COEHS) for use in the designated lab areas only. Under no circumstances will the above-mentioned items be allowed out of the designated lab areas. If you are interested in checking out equipment, please visit the TRC in Horrabin Hall 111.
