As the Executive Director of the School of Distance Learning, International Studies, and Outreach, I want to confirm our commitment to continuing Western Illinois University's long tradition as a global university. International Studies is one of this great institution’s strategic initiatives and one of the university's many strengths in global venues.

Our commitment to international outreach can be seen within our efforts in International Admissions, International Orientation, Study Abroad, and Western's English as a Second Language (WESL) Institute.
