Cost of Study
All international Students must prove a minimum amount of money to study at WIU for one academic year. The approximate costs for the 2011-2012 academic year of study are as follows:

If you plan to bring your spouse or child(ren) with you, add approximately $6,200 per year for the living costs of a spouse and $3,100 per year per child.
Students who have not satisfied the English language proficiency requirement must pay a deposit of $3,750 USD before an I-20 is issued. Payment can be made by bank drafts (certified checks) from a U.S. bank or wire transfer. Please be sure to include your name and student ID number. Students with governmental scholarships are excluded from this policy.
