Campus Activities - Conversation Partners

Conversation Partners is a program where international students are paired with U.S. WIU students for conversational purposes. Conversation Partners are expected to commit to meeting at least once a week for the duration of the semester.

Conversation Partners represents a wonderful cross-cultural sharing opportunity with mutual benefits and gives both U.S. and International students an opportunity to celebrate their differences.  It give participants a chance to expand their horizons, or sometimes even a chance to travel to other countries.  It is a great opportunity to help students from around the world learn more about American culture, customs and lifestyle. 

In addition to the cultural experience, it is a great way to build a resume!  If you are interested in meeting an talking to people from other countries, Please Join the Conversation Partners Program!

Please note, WESL students must be in the University Preparation (UP) level to participate.
